Privacy Policy

This page explains what data VPSTier.com collects, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Data we collect

Personal data we do NOT collect: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to read any content on VPSTier.com.

Data collected automatically by third parties:

• Cloudflare (our CDN): Logs your IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and performance. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Google Analytics (if enabled): We may use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

2. Cookies

VPSTier.com uses a minimal number of cookies, set by Cloudflare and (optionally) Google Analytics. These cookies are used for:

• Security (Cloudflare bot detection and rate limiting)
• Anonymous traffic analytics (if Google Analytics is enabled)

We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or any third-party data sale.

3. Affiliate links

VPSTier.com participates in affiliate programs with VPS providers. When you click a provider link in our reviews and sign up, the provider may set a cookie in your browser to attribute the referral to us. This is how we earn commissions. These cookies do not track you across other sites.

Clicking an affiliate link does not change the price you pay. It only gives us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

4. AI / LLM use

We publish an llms.txt file at /llms.txt that explicitly allows AI crawlers (Googlebot, GPTBot, ClaudeBot) to access our content for search citation purposes. We do not have a separate "AI training opt-out" beyond what llms.txt provides. If you are an AI operator and want to opt out of citation, contact us via the About.me profile.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Use VPSTier.com without creating an account or providing personal data
• Block cookies via your browser settings (some site features may degrade)
• Request deletion of any personal data you have provided (we don't store any by default, so this is usually a no-op)
• Contact us with privacy questions via the About.me profile

6. Children

VPSTier.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
